About Me
I moved to the St. Marys area when I was a young child and have chosen to settle here with my husband and 2 daughters. I attended the University of Guelph where I earned my Bachelor of Applied Science with a Major in Child Studies and a Special Emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Afterwards, I attended the University of Western Ontario - Althouse College where I earned my Bachelor of Education and Teaching Qualifications. After graduation, I spent 5 years teaching full time at the Anne Hathaway Day Care Center in Stratford before accepting a position with the Avon Maitland District School Board. This will be my seventh year teaching at Little Falls Public School. Before coming to Little Falls, I taught at Downie Central Public School for 7 years and spent 1 year at the former St. Marys Central. Over the years, I have taught Kindergarten, a Gr. 1/2 split, and both grades 2 and 3. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I like walking my dog (Sasha), reading, cooking, going for snowmobile rides with my husband, downhill skiing and swimming.
